Eyes of destruction



So today i have learnt a lot about double checking check boxes in maya, between the advice of 2 friends and a tutor it has taken an entire day to model and texture this eye, it may not be the finished piece. The main problem with it was that when i tried to assign a uv texture, it was creating lots of separate layers so it would never attach the eye texture created to the right map.. needless to say today was ultimately very annoying but in the end i feel the eye looks very pretty . :P

Pecks Like 2 Paving Slabs!




OK! here is the latest version of Ed's monster of a man hulk thing... in this particular piece i have strived to define the muscle structure of something that is not real- yet based upon basic marvel / comic book techniques is still human like. the creature still has no legs incase you are thinking 'god what the hell is that mesh of ligaments at the bottom ?!'. i intend t follow this piece up by covering the creatures left eye socket with a graft of skin that merges into that mountain of traps, i feel ecstatic about the lats and abdominal area, but especially with the structure of the bicep .. to be continued..
